I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Former two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive paydays.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Physical Difference

As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
