The Pop Star Portrays a Twisted Persona of Herself in Satirical Film Teaser
The celebrated musician is getting ready for a significant big screen appearance in 2026, kicking off with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.
Within the project, she portrays what she refers to as a twisted version of herself.
It’s the most authentic portrayal of the music business that I’ve ever witnessed, Charli stated.
She elaborated in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, yet the concept stemmed from the expectation to create one.
An Early Look into The Film
The first teaser, unveiled on recently, combines real clips from her recent tour with fictionalized behind-the-scenes moments.
The film is helmed and co-scripted by the director, who shared that the story revolves around a reality where the singer made entirely different choices throughout the promotion of her hugely successful record Brat.

A Busy Acting Schedule
The film is only one of several upcoming movie projects for the star, who has starred in three independent movies recently.

Additionally, she signed on to feature in the actress’s maiden directing project A Tree in Blue.

Musical Contributions
Next February will also include the launch of the filmmaker’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will include new music from Charli.
Additionally, she will create the soundtrack for the drama Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, scheduled for release in the coming year.
The mockumentary will be released on January 30.
